I met Karielle Anzaldi after seeing her standout performance as The Leading Player in the musical Pippin (one of my all-time favorite musicals). It was performed at The Players’ Ring theater in Portsmouth, New Hampshire in May and June of 2019.
I asked her if she’d like to be in my Beauty in Nature series, and she said yes! Aside from being an actor, it turns out Karielle is also a model.

Extra special thanks to my brother in law, Jeff Derissaint for being my lighting assistant for the shoot. It took some coaxing, but eventually, he was willing to get into the water while holding the light. As a result, I was able to get into the waterfall with Karielle and achieve these intimate shots. None of these photos would have been possible without Jeff. At least they wouldn’t have looked this good.
Also, special thanks to Greg Gaskell, who was on Team Karielle. He motivated her and helped her feel comfortable and beautiful. He also took some really fun behind the scenes photos and video.
